How to Perform a Paloff Press Exercise [Improve Core Stabilization]

This exercise begins by standing with a resistance band pulled from the side with the hands pulling the band near the top of the abdomen. You should begin this exercise by having the body in a good postural position with the Abs braced, then slowly push the band outward without breaking away from the starting position. This is a widely variable exercise and can be made more difficult by staggering the backward leg, performing in a lunge position, or using additional bands as shown.
